High-temperature SLA Material at Formnext 2023
Justin Pringle, our Managing Director, is making his annual trip to Formnext in Munich (07-11.11.23). Justin will immerse himself in all things 3D Printing to see if there is anything genuinely new and unique or if it will be just the same old, same old. Time will tell!
AMX-300 SLA high temp material
Justin will stop by the 3D Systems Corporation stand to discuss the latest material that we have been running for the last few months before its official launch at Formnext.
The material is a fantastic addition to the materials we already run. AMX-300 is a new high-temperature material capable of withstanding 300°C. This material has been developed for the SLA machines that 3D Systems offers. We are running the new material on our Projet 6000, which offers exceptional part quality.
SLA materials have not changed much in a very long time but what we see, especially from 3D Systems, is some excellent progress in offering engineering-grade materials and not just looks like.
With a print area of 250x250x250mm, we can now print large or multiple parts that will give engineers flexibility in developing any new product where high-temperature resistance is paramount
We have been working alongside 3D Systems for six months to ensure that the material and machine parameters are perfect for a wide range of applications with this new material.
We’ll share a datasheet on the new material shortly. Watch this space!
