ISO 14001 Accreditation: A Milestone in Sustainable Prototyping

A key achievement in our sustainability journey is our ISO 14001 accreditation. This international standard for environmental management systems underlines our commitment to identifying, managing, and reducing environmental risks across our business. By obtaining this certification, we’ve taken tangible steps to assess and mitigate the impact of our prototyping processes.

From reducing energy consumption to minimising waste, our adherence to ISO 14001 ensures that sustainability is at the forefront of every decision we make. This accreditation isn’t just a badge for us – it reflects our deep-rooted commitment to sustainable development and the well-being of our planet.

Sustainable Materials: The Carbon-Reduced PA2200

We believe that the materials we use play a critical role in our sustainability goals. That’s why we offer Matrix PA12 CR, a sustainable replacement for traditional PA2200, for SLS 3D printed parts. This carbon-reduced material offers the same outstanding mechanical properties but with a significantly lower environmental footprint. It is manufactured using renewable energy and incorporates recycled content, making it the ideal choice for clients seeking eco-friendly 3D printing solutions.

Our adoption of PA12 CR reflects our drive to offer sustainable alternatives without compromising on performance. We are continually researching and testing new materials to expand our sustainable options, giving our customers more opportunities to align their prototyping projects with their environmental goals.

Energy Efficiency & Waste Reduction

We are constantly seeking ways to improve energy efficiency within our facility. This includes optimising our 3D printing and CNC machining processes to ensure that we use resources more effectively. We monitor our energy consumption and implement measures to reduce it wherever possible, such as investing in energy-efficient equipment and exploring renewable energy sources.

In addition to energy efficiency, we take waste management seriously. From reducing the amount of material waste generated during production to recycling unused materials, we aim to minimise landfill contribution. Our commitment extends beyond our own operations, as we actively encourage our clients to choose sustainable materials and processes for their prototypes.
