Our in-house capabilities for 3D printing include SLA prototyping, SLS prototyping, FDM, PolyJet and DLP. We also have a fully equipped CNC machining workshop. To complement these facilities, we also have vacuum casting, model making and laser cutting, plus extensive options for CNC finishing and 3D printing finishing to ensure your prototype parts and assemblies have the aesthetic and functional qualities you need
There are two other areas of expertise that set us apart from other prototyping companies. First, we have a dedicated medical cell for producing 3D printed prototype parts suitable for patient contact. Second, we have an inspection department with a co-ordinate measuring machine (CMM).
Taken as a whole, these facilities and skills mean we have one of the most comprehensive portfolios of all UK-based prototyping companies.
However, if you need a prototyping technology not mentioned above, we will endeavour to source it via our trusted network of subcontractors. For example, we often work with specialists in photochemical etching and laser cutting of sheet metal, spring prototyping, metal additive manufacturing, investment casting and electronics.
We can also assist customers if, having achieved their goals with one-off prototypes or veryl ow volumes, they need to transition to small-batch injection moulding with liquid silicone rubber (LSR) or aluminium tooling.
As well as serving customers local to us in the Cambridge area, we regularly ship parts to customers elsewhere in the UK and overseas.
Design consultancies are well represented in our customer base, as are product design and development teams from a broad spectrum of industries, such as pharmaceutical, life sciences, oil and gas, automotive, aerospace, electronics and consumer goods.
We also have customers for whom we manufacture end-use parts, including special-purpose machine builders and manufacturers of specialist instrumentation.
Consequently, our engineers and technicians are not fazed by any enquiry, regardless of how unusual it is or which prototyping technologies are called for. You can therefore think of us as your ‘one-stop shop for prototyping’.
If you need prototype parts, whatever manufacturing technologies are involved, talk to us about your project on 01763 249760 or complete the enquiry form below to request a quote.
