3D Printing dispatch levels to suit all needs

From express to super-economy: your parts, your speed

At Prototype Projects, we are conscious that every prototype we print is unique. As such, the dispatch options required for each project may well be different. While speed is of paramount importance for some projects, budget is more important for others.

With this in mind, we offer four 3D printing dispatch levels for 3D printing (SLS, SLA, FDM, PolyJet):

Express

Express orders will be dispatched the next day. This option is ideal for projects with pressing deadlines. All final data is required by 4.00pm to guarantee next day dispatch.

Lead times are dependent on part size and actual build time on the specified RP machine and will be confirmed upon order placement.

Standard

If you select a standard dispatch level, your part(s) will be dispatched in three working days.

This option is ideal for projects which require a fast turnaround, but where next day dispatch is not necessary.

Economy

Economy orders are dispatched in five working days and proves to be a cost-efficient option where budget is a higher priority than speed.

Super-Economy

Our super-economy option is most suitable for projects where speed is not a priority. Parts ordered with super-economy will be dispatched in ten working days.

Requesting a quote

Quote requests received between 8.00am and 4.00pm are usually* responded to on the same day.

Quote requests received after 4.00pm will be responded to on the following business day.

Please specify your required dispatch level (and finish level) when requesting a quote. Quote requests received without this information will be quoted as express with a basic finish.

*depending on complexity of requirement. All final data is required by 4.00pm for express (next day) dispatch.

Placing an order

Orders can be placed between 8.00am and 5.00pm on business days.

For local clients requiring delivery within a 15 mile radius of Royston, Prototype Projects offers a free delivery service using our own vehicles.

For clients requiring delivery outside the 15 mile radius of Royston, delivery will be via Royal Mail guaranteed before 1.00pm service or equivalent, for which there is a charge.

When ordering, please specify which dispatch option you require:

• Express: Next day dispatch if ordered before 5.00pm (all final data is required by 4.00pm)
• Standard: in 3 working days
• Economy: in 5 working days
• Super-Economy: in 10 working days
