- What is SLA material Accura AMX High Temp 300C?
A.I. Tony discusses Accura AMX High Temp 300C material. An ultra-high temperature-resistant rigid plastic, designed for applications where heat resistance is critical
With a heat deflection temperature exceeding 300°C at low stress, it stands as the industry’s most heat-resistant SLA material
Properties of Accura AMX High Temp 300C
This material offers unparalleled thermal stability, eliminating the need for post-thermal curing, which significantly shortens our production workflow. Its translucency makes it perfect for elevated temperature fluid or gas flow visualisation, allowing engineers to evaluate internal features and fluid dynamics with ease.
Accura AMX High Temp is a rigid, translucent, unfilled, production-grade material that has excellent isotropy and compatibility with chemicals and automotive fluids. The heat deflection temperature of 300°C is with low stress (0.455 MPa in accordance with ISO 75-1/2 B). At high stress, the heat deflection temperature is still a remarkable 115°C (1.82 MPa in accordance with ISO 75-1/2 A). Other key material characteristics are an ultimate tensile strength of 53 MPa (ISO 527-1/2), a flexural strength of 108 MPa (ISO 178) and an Izod unnotched impact strength of 6 J/m2 (ISO 180-U).
