Tim Rowell: celebrating 20 years with Prototype Projects

Tim Rowell celebrates his 20th anniversary

When we think back to 2001, we remember some incredible films opening in the cinema: The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring; Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone; Shrek. But something much more magical than wizards, witches and ogres happened a little closer to home…

Tim Rowell joined the Prototype Projects team, for a second time no less!

It is incredible to think that 20 years ago a young Tim (much younger than today!) walked through our doors with a full head of hair. Although it has been such a long time that, in all honesty, we don’t remember Tim-with-hair but as Tim says he is “still handsome” even though “I’m getting old.”

Tim joined Prototype Projects a year after Justin Pringle took over the running of the company at the turn of the Millennium. Justin said:

“Tim’s as much of the furniture as I am around here, and it’s been great to see his journey during that time. He started in the moulding department, before being promoted to team leader. Now, in 2021, he is just stepping into his new position as Quality and Operations Manager where he is responsible for a team of 20 people and ensures every job is of the high quality our customers have come to expect over the years. My sincere thanks to Tim for his continued hard work and commitment to Prototype Projects.”

Justin continued:

“Tim’s promotion comes at an exciting time for Prototype Projects as the company is refining its vision for the future. Tim and his team are great assets and, as we finalise our plans for the company over the coming weeks and months, I know they will continue to meet the tight deadlines we have to work to.”
