Prototype Projects is a specialist prototyping and production parts manufacturer based in Royston, Hertfordshire, with 35 years’ experience in prototyping, model making and production part manufacturing.
We provide a completely integrated design-to-production service including model making, rapid prototyping, 3D printing, finishing and additive manufacturing of production parts.

Our 3D printing technologies can be used for both rapid prototyping of early-stage concept parts and additive manufacturing of production parts and components. To complement our technology services we provide integrated consultancy, support and advice on material choice, process selection and design optimisation.
A range of finishing options is available including surface smoothing, lacquering, dye colouring, spray painting and hand finishing.
Clients include design consultancies and product designers and design engineers in the pharma-medical, oil and gas, automotive, aerospace and consumer manufacturing sectors.

Justin Pringle, Managing Director
Justin manages the commercial, consulting and planning sides of the business, including sales and marketing activities. As well as planning the direction of the business, Justin is responsible for investment in new machinery and technologies to ensure that capacity is always ahead of customer demand.
Gary Turner, General / Technical Manager
Gary’s role is to ensure the timely and accurate quoting of all prototyping and additive manufacturing jobs to clients. He manages the technical interface between customers and our in-house production team, as well as sharing the consultancy role with Justin Pringle.
Vikki Pringle, Accounts Administrator and Company Secretary
Vikki runs the day-to-day elements of the business in her role as Company Secretary. In addition, Vikki processes invoices for customers and suppliers, runs the payroll, processes everything for accounting purposes and manages the banking as well as reconciliation of accounts.
Martin Lansbury, Project and Workshop Co-ordinator
Martin manages the production team, and is responsible for ensuring that all projects are planned and managed according to the required schedule. Once a job begins, he will typically keep clients updated about the progress of the project, ensuring that quality standards are maintained to the required levels.
Hannah Game, Sales Manager
Hannah specialises in raising quotations quickly and efficiently for customers, with technical support from Gary. She also processes customer orders and builds relationships with clients to give a personal touch. Hannah also ensures Matt has the information he needs to undertake his work.
Matt Rigling, Sales Co-ordinator
Matt was previously a member of our SLS RP team. Using his technical experience he supports Hannah with the quotation process. He builds relationships with customers by following up on quote requests to ensure our quotes meet expectations and answers any technical queries.
