New Larger CNC Billet Expands 3-Day and Production Capacity
We’ve introduced a new, larger CNC billet size to support customers developing bigger machined components without compromising on lead time.
The new billet measures 200 x 100 x 90 mm and is available in aluminium or acetal across both our 3-Day and Production CNC machining services, subject to part geometry.
Greater flexibility for larger machined parts
This expanded capacity provides more room for complex geometries, integrated features and consolidated assemblies that previously may have required redesign or alternative manufacturing routes.
As with all CNC work, suitability for our 3-Day or Production services will depend on geometry, tolerances and overall machinability. Our team reviews every project to ensure it aligns with the appropriate service level.
Machined on robot-supported 5-axis VMCs
The new billet size is run on our robot-supported 5-axis vertical machining centres. This setup enables efficient multi-sided machining, consistent quality and reliable repeatability, whether you need a single functional prototype or a batch of low-volume production parts.
Existing billet sizes still available
Alongside the new capacity, we continue to offer:
- 150 x 100 x 90 mm
- 150 x 50 x 40 mm
This range allows us to match billet size to part requirements, helping to optimise material usage and machining efficiency.
