Lead CNC Milling Offline Programmer

We’re excited to announce a new opportunity to join our growing CNC team at Prototype Projects.

We’re looking for an experienced CNC milling offline programmer who’s ready to take the next step, not only producing high-quality offline programs, but leading and developing our programming team.

About the Role

In this position, you will:

  • Lead and support our CNC programming team
  • Create high-quality offline programs for a wide range of prototype and low-volume production parts
  • Plan and schedule programming work to ensure our delivery commitments are consistently met
  • Help drive process improvements as we continue to refine our workflow and delivery reliability

Innovation at Prototype Projects

We pride ourselves on delivering quality and consistently reliable turnaround times. To support this, we’ve developed our own AI-enabled quoting system, designed to significantly speed up and standardise the quotation process.

We’re also actively exploring the smart application of AI to enhance CNC programming efficiency and workflow.

You’ll be working with industry-leading tools including:

  • @Mastercam
  • @CloudNC
  • @HAAS

Who We’re Looking For

A CNC professional with:

  • Strong experience in 3-axis and 5-axis milling offline programming
  • A passion for leadership and developing others
  • A proactive, quality-focused mindset
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, prototype-driven environment
