What is Micro 3D Printing?
Micro 3D Printing allows the fabrication of detailed microstructures with fine features, XY Optical resolution is 10 microns, XY Positional accuracy is 1 micron and printing with 10-40 Micron layers. This process is perfect for applications requiring complex geometries, smooth finishes, and consistent results.
Using our Micro 3D Printing service, project lead times and costs can be drastically reduced without needing standard manufacturing processes’ expense or lead times, such as Micro CNC Machining or Micro Injection moulding.

Capabilities and Materials
Our state-of-the-art microArch S240 3D printer, manufactured by Boston Micro Fabrication (BMF), is at the heart of our Micro 3D Printing service. This ultra-high-resolution machine boasts a build envelope of 100 x 100 x 75 mm, enabling the creation of intricate parts with exceptional detail and accuracy. The print layer is 30-50 µm.
We offer a range of materials specifically tailored for micro-scale applications:
- Matrix HTL: A high-temp, low-viscosity engineering material with excellent strength and rigidity. Finished parts can withstand temperatures up to 114°C, making them ideal for demanding environments.
- Matrix BIO: A biocompatible resin suited for non-implantable medical applications. This material is sterilisation-friendly and has passed multiple ISO 10993 biocompatibility tests.
- Matrix HTA300: Industry-leading, ultra-high temperature resistant rigid plastic suitable for the harshest thermal environments.
